  • I just wanted to record my thanks to the Westall’s team for coming to our rescue last week.

    Sadly our boiler failed Graham’s annual service last Monday, both Graham and Ian beforehand have nursed along for a few years now. (I can’t complain as it has lasted 33 years following installation in 1986 by Colin Armstrong.)

    Bob came along to quote for a new replacement boiler and he obviously worked late into the night to complete the estimate, which I accepted and paid my deposit early on Tuesday morning.

    I must make special mention of Graham who installed the new boiler, his work ethic and professionalism is fantastic. In fact all of the Westall’s team who at some point attended and supported Graham were a real credit to the business.

    The urgency was that my son’s wedding was last weekend and we had family arriving to stay with us. Thankfully due to your great team’s efforts my 2 year old grandson and my 90 year old mother in law had some heating in the house over the weekend.

    I would be grateful if you please will please pass on our thanks to all the Westall’s team who worked on installing our new boiler. My thanks again

  • In my working life I have carried out many building and shopfitting contracts in the UK, I am therefore well qualified to recognise whether a plumber is good or not so good.

    Your plumber (Mel) started and finished work on time, was methodical throughout, and left a clean and tidy site. I have no hesitation in saying that he was professional in every sense of the word, matching the supporting staff at Westalls.

  • We woke up to find that the hot water system had failed. We were able to get an engineer the same day at a time to suit us. Graham managed to fit us in as last appointment. It wasn’t possible to finish the job that evening but Graham returned first thing the following day to fit a new pump. Great job, no mess, kept us informed all the way. Well done.

  • We thought we were just having our annual boiler service and all would be OK but the new engineer, Graham spotted a very serious problem that needed resolving urgently. He explained it very clearly, sourced the part and fitted it very quickly so now we have hot water again and my son no longer has an excuse not to shower!   • We moved to Newcastle over six years ago and on and off we have had problems with our Megaflow Heatrae Sadia cylinder. Westalls came warmly recommended. It was refreshing to have Neil Livingstone turn up and recognise the problem instantly. It required a 2nd visit to correct a faulty initial installation.   • I’d like to say a big thank you to Graham for coming out to check our gas supply for us. The heating and hot water went off and I was unable to figure out why. We live at the top of a very rough track and the conditions were poor when he came out, he couldn’t get his van up to us as it was so icy so he left it at the bottom and walked up to sort the issue for me. I have a baby and young child so am so grateful he went the extra mile to ensure I had heating! I can’t fault Westalls at all, Graham was here within an hour of me contacting them. I will definitely be using your services again in the future! Thank you
