Useful generation with clear information
Roof-led system design
We position and size the array after checking pitch, direction and shading.
Monitoring made understandable
We show you where to see output and recognise an unexpected change.
Support after installation
We can inspect poor generation, inverter warnings and system faults.
Design starts with the roof above you
A useful solar array needs more than a spare patch of roof. We inspect the available area, direction, pitch and shading before working out panel numbers and likely generation. The design also covers mounting equipment, the inverter, electrical protection and monitoring. Solar panels generate from daylight throughout the year, but output changes with cloud, day length and the seasons. We explain those limits clearly, so your solar panel installation is based on the property rather than a hopeful figure copied from somewhere sunnier.

From roof survey to working monitoring
Once the design is agreed, we plan the roof work, fit the mounting system and panels, make the electrical connection and commission the equipment. At handover, we show you how to read the monitoring and check that generation is being recorded. Electricity produced during the day can supply the property first. Surplus power may charge a compatible battery or be exported through an eligible tariff. We can also support the system later with servicing, diagnostics and repairs if performance drops or a warning appears.
Frequently asked questions
Do solar panels still generate electricity in winter?
Yes, panels generate from daylight rather than heat. Output is usually lower in winter because days are shorter and the sun is lower. We discuss seasonal variation when explaining the expected performance of your proposed system.
What happens to solar electricity we don't use?
Surplus electricity can charge a compatible home battery or pass to the grid. Export payments depend on your eligibility and chosen tariff. We design the system around likely household use before discussing those options.
What does the solar installation handover cover?
We confirm that the system has been commissioned and explain the main controls and monitoring. We show you how to view generation data, what normal changes look like and when a fault message needs attention.
